Brief: To create a new, up to date self portrait to use for my website, social media and CV that makes it clear that I am a retoucher and digital compositor but is also in-keeping with my brand style.
Solution: I chose a light, open space and took the photo in a flattering, natural lighting. I chose turquoise and teal eye makeup that is in-keeping with my brand colouring. I then retouched my skin etc. in a very natural, subtle way; removing blemishes, slight skin smoothing, tidying makeup, teeth whitening, tidying hair and slight lip colouring. After researching different self portraits and portraits, I chose this geometric style and added the shapes and shadows to cheer this.
