I recently worked with Leia Joanne Bridal Couture on this location fashion shoot to promote her bespoke designs and incredible skills. Leia Joanne is a British Bespoke Wedding Dress Designer, who works closely with brides to create their Dream Dress. We worked together with a hair and makeup artist, two stunning models and my glamorous assistant to produce this dazzling series.
Brief: To create a series of location fashion images showcasing these garments designed and made by Leia.
Solution: I chose a light, open space with an aesthetic, dramatic backdrop for this collection of images and added smoke grenades (safely and with correct permissions etc.). I made a variety of images both with and without smoke of both models and individually as well as a series of cinemagraphs (coming soon to my site)! I then retouched this images to add the cool tones, remove the fake grass that the models were placed on, smooth skin and make additional changes.
Software and Equipment used: Canon, Monfrotto Tripod, Reflector, Speed Light, Bridge and Photoshop, plus some smoke grenades!
